Of course, she would have rather spoken with clay, because writing for her is coping with more difficult matter. A matter that sparks her creativity so much less.
She would rather let her hands speak through creating shapes, and have them flourish by using unique glazes. She’s grateful for maintaining a sense of inspiration all of these years, as well as a love for working, as she still does.
With such high productivity in fact, an overview of 30 years of creativity has been eternalized in a series of three books: “Een Eigenzinnig Bestaan, Keramiek van Alda Brunenberg”, part 1,2, and 3. The last part of the book series has been released quite recently, in 2022. The books not only provide an overview with pictures of her work, they also show the reader who Alda Brunenberg is as an artist.
