Bright colors, clean shapes, and art with a story. That’s what I love. A story told from the perspective of an event, an experience, or an issue from daily life. From an assignment, a theme, or a coincidental discovery. I want to make the viewer curious, make the viewer think, and have the viewer create a personal image of my work. I like to play with geometrical shapes and strong contrasts. My work shows how shape and color can enhance one another in order to create a challenging and interesting image. I still find it fascinating, how you can make endless combinations from a strong base. It challenges me to continue to search for something new, and to set the bar higher for myself each time. “I can’t”, is not in my vocabulary. There’s always a way to make what I want to show you.
