My work is refined and powerful, yet the sculptures have a fragile appearance. They represent still moments of growth and the transitoriness of life.
Clay is the material I love to work with the most, and with which I’ve developed my own language of shapes. I work intuitively with the microscopic world around us, nature at cellular level, as the starting point for my extraordinary sculptures.
Curiosity and fascination for the science of living creatures, ways of life, and life phenomenon emerged in primary school already. Now, these themes are inspiration for my “Natural Curiosities” ceramics.
